After flying high against Grace Baptist Academy last Friday, Silverdale Academy came back down to earth. Despite the defeat, Silverdale Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kinsley Owen dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. Owen is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ella Canter, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 14 points.
Silverdale Academy moved to 16-11 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Notre Dame, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-6.
