Meanwhile, even though West Stanly scored an imposing 73 points on Tuesday, Anson still came out on top. Anson snuck past West Stanly with a 78-73 win.
Forest Hills now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Anson, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
Forest Hills was able to grind out a solid win over Anson when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 73-62. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Anson's Greg Covington, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be that much easier for Forest Hills to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
