Chickasha posted their closest victory since April 8th on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Berryhill Chiefs 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Fighting Chicks: when they faced off against the Chiefs on Friday, they had to take a 5-2 defeat.

Chickasha has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Berryhill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 28-10.

As of now, neither Chickasha nor the Chiefs have any future games scheduled.
