It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Terry Bulldogs ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They snuck past Forest Hill with a 61-56 win. The win was familiar territory for Terry who now have three in a row.
Terry's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elisiah Branson led the charge by scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Branson hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Marleya Myers, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds.
Terry has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Forest Hill, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-13.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Pearl River Central the next time they take the court. Terry will host Pearl River Central at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Forest Hill will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
