With a playoff game on the line, the Waipahu Marauders rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Wildcats as they made off with a 53-28 victory. The result was nothing new for Waipahu, who have now won six contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Waipahu can attribute much of their success to Eric Stephens, who picked up 117 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The win was the fourth in a row for Waipahu, bringing their record for this year to 8-4. As for Konawaena, their loss dropped their record down to 11-2.
Waipahu does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Konawaena also has no future games currently scheduled.
