Newton Local barely beat National Trail the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians never let the Blazers get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Indians have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Newton Local, bringing their record up to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for National Trail, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newton Local will square off against Arcanum at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for National Trail, they will face off against Milton-Union at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Blazers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
