Fallston is still undefeated  this season after their  matchup against Century  on Saturday, but Century came as close as anyone has to beating them. Fallston sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-1  win over Century. The three-run effort marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring  contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
 Mary Pfaff made a big impact no matter where she played. She  pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Pfaff was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run.
 In other batting news,  Abby Marmen was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Fallston  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.0 runs over those games.  Looking ahead, Fallston will welcome C. Milton Wright  at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Century, they will challenge Urbana on Tuesday.
