Perry County Central is 7-2 against Harlan County since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Perry County Central took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They never let Powell County get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory.

Powell County's batters probably weren't too happy with Devin Gayhart, who pitched a no hitter and racked up eight Ks (he gave up eight walks). Gayhart also allowed no hits, which is notable because Perry County Central is 5-1 when he allows at most one hit, but 7-15 otherwise.
At the plate, Mason Sumner was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted over his last ten matches. Tate Watts was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
Perry County Central was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Powell County only posted a batting average of .000.
Meanwhile, Harlan County made easy work of Letcher County Central on Tuesday and carried off a 7-1 win. The Black Bears haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Zayden Casolari spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brayden Morris, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Dashaun Smith, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Perry County Central pushed their record up to 12-16 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Harlan County, their win bumped their record up to 7-14-1.
