Meanwhile, Kaynor Tech's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Woodland Regional 73-46. Kaynor Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.
Abbott RVT's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Kaynor Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Abbott RVT didn't have too much breathing room in their match against the Panthers when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 54-48 win.
