Sheboygan Falls hasn't had much luck against New Holstein recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. New Holstein took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Sheboygan Falls, who comes in off a win.
Sheboygan Falls headed into their last contest having not scored more than two runs for six straight, but St. Lawrence Seminary let them put that streak behind them. The Falcons put the hurt on the Hilltoppers with a sharp 14-1 win on Friday. The Falcons' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Rhett Albright made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over 4.2 innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base.
In other batting news, Sheboygan Falls got a massive performance out of Anthony Adamavich, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. Austin Sharp was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Sheboygan Falls always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .657. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, New Holstein didn't have quite enough to beat St. Mary's Springs on Friday and fell 3-2. The Huskies have struggled against the Ledgers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.
New Holstein saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hayden Jurgensmier, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Sheboygan Falls' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for New Holstein, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.
Sheboygan Falls might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from New Holstein in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
