The Johnson County Longhorns will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Pine Lake Prep Pride at 2:30 p.m. on December 29th. Johnson County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
On Thursday, Johnson County was the victim of a tough 77-54 loss at the hands of Watauga. While losing is never fun, Johnson County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 330th in Tennessee, while Watauga is ranked 157th in North Carolina).
Meanwhile, Pine Lake Prep pushed their score all the way to 60 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 71-60 to Apex Friendship.
Johnson County's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-8. As for Pine Lake Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
