After having lost a blowout in their last-week matchup, the Gull Lake Blue Devils were happy to find some success on Tuesday. They were fully in charge, breezing past the Sturgis Trojans 64-22 on the road. That looming 42-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Gull Lake yet this season.
The victory bumped the Blue Devils' record up to 8-7. Sturgis' overall record fell to 6-11.
The Blue Devils will take on Lakeview in two weeks. Sturgis will be hunkering down at home again for their game against Calhoun Christian on Tuesday. Sturgis is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
