The New Prairie Cougars will head out on the road to  challenge  the La Porte Slicers at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. New Prairie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6  runs per game  this season.
 New Prairie is hoping to deliver their fans another blowout  on Friday, just like they did against Culver Academies (and have done all season long). Everything went New Prairie's way against Culver Academies on Thursday as New Prairie made off with  an  11-1 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for New Prairie.
  Reed Robinson was  incredible,  going 1-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tyson Greenwood, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought  game, but La Porte had to settle for  a  6-4 loss against Chesterton on Wednesday. La Porte has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 La Porte saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kai Jones, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-5.
 New Prairie has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record  this season. As for La Porte, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.
