On Friday, Lansing Christian came up short against Dansville and fell 61-49. While losing is never fun, Lansing Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 626th, while Dansville is ranked 233rd).
Ethan Damesworth and David Hall certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Damesworth scored 19 points along with five rebounds, while Hall scored 24 points along with six rebounds. Hall scored a full 49% of Lansing Christian's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
This is the second loss in a row for Lansing Christian and nudges their season record down to 1-6. As for Dansville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Lansing Christian will play host again and welcome Bath, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bath comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Dansville's road trip will continue as they head out to face Saranac at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
