Youngker got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jazmine Ramirez out in front who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that Ramirez scored 15 or more points. Ashlee Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with nine steals and eight rebounds.
Youngker's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-4. As for Independence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
