Warrior Run and North Penn-Liberty squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Warrior Run had to settle for second. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountie. The Defenders' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Lakesha Hauck was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Warrior Run's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for North Penn-Liberty, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
