Trego lost to Hodgeman County on the road by a decisive 50-34 margin on Tuesday. Trego has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Among those leading the charge was Owen Reece, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 25 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Hodgeman County's points. Hazen Rydquist was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 3 steals.
Trego's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hodgeman County, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Trego will be playing at home against Victoria at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Victoria focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday. As for Hodgeman County, they will head out on the road to face off against Ness City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
