Thibodaux fell to South Lafourche 28-38 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Thibodaux were the clear victor with a 35-10 margin. The success made it back-to-back wins for them.
Thibodaux's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 28 points in the first half. South Lafourche came up with 3 to make it 28-3 heading into the break. The Thibodaux defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 7 and all but finishing the game. The matchup pushed South Lafourche down to 0-2 and pulled Thibodaux up to the reverse at 2-0.
Thibodaux will stay at home next week against East Ascension at 7:00 PM. South Lafourche will be defending their home turf for the first time when they go up against Central Lafourche at 7:00 PM.
