Volleyball Recap: Hesston Snags Seventh Win in Last Nine Games

If Ellsworth wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hesston, they should've done a better job of containing Callie Yoder. The Swathers came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 2-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Yoder, who had 12 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

While Hesston won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-22.

Hesston has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-14 record this season. As for Ellsworth, their loss ended a nine-match streak of away wins and brought them to 32-11.

As of now, neither Hesston nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
