The Middlesex Chargers lost against the King & Queen Central Royal Tigers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Middlesex had to suffer through a rough 48-13 loss at the hands of King & Queen Central. Middlesex was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
When it comes to explaining why Middlesex lost, one person who can't be blamed is Rowan Anderson. Despite the final result, he picked up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Middlesex's defeat was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.0 points per game. As for King & Queen Central, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.
Middlesex does not have any more games scheduled as of now. King & Queen Central will be playing at home against King William at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. King William will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
