Corvian Community hasn't had much luck against Christ the King recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Cardinals will look to defend their home field against the Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. Corvian Community is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Corvian Community took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over Leadership Academy. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.
Brennan Frey made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Frey was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. He is becoming a predictor of Corvian Community's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-8 when he doesn't).
