Konos Academy suffered their biggest defeat since November 17, 2023 on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 89-56 loss at the hands of Calvary Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Saturday (55), Konos Academy still had to take the loss.
When it comes to explaining why Konos Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aaron Cramer. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Knapp, who scored ten points.
Konos Academy's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-8. As for Calvary Christian, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Creekside Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Konos Academy will host Creekside Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Calvary Christian will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
