The East Pennsboro Panthers's game on Tuesday was all tied up 35-35 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 74-64 to Trinity. While losing is never fun, East Pennsboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while Trinity is ranked 99th).
Leading Trinity to victory were Reece Brown and Owen Schlager. Brown scored 21 points along with five rebounds, while Schlager scored 23 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Schlager has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 14 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Andre Steele, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
East Pennsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Trinity, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
East Pennsboro will be playing at home against Susquehanna Township at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity, they will head out on the road to take on Camp Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
