Even though the Drexel Bobcats scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, the Bronaugh Wildcats still came out on top. Bronaugh took their match against Drexel 68-60. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bronaugh.
Bronaugh's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tucker Duncan, who scored 28 points. The game was Duncan's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Colter Banes, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Bronaugh is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Drexel, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Bronaugh will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on College Heights Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. College Heights Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 328 points over their last five matchups. Drexel will finish 2023 at home by hosting Chilhowee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
