Football Recap: Jadyn Williams Leads Southeast Bulloch's Defense on Thursday

It's playoff time, and Southeast Bulloch had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Wheeler County Bulldogs 27-6 on Thursday. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won 11 matchups by more than 19 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Paige Nelson looked great while leading her team to the win, rushing for 13 yards and four touchdowns. She also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles. Southeast Bulloch also got help from Laina Erickson, who showed off her sure hands for 104 receiving yards.

Southeast Bulloch's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Jadyn Williams with two sacks.

Southeast Bulloch's victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Wheeler County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.

Southeast Bulloch didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 34-0 win against Miller Grove on the 5th. Wheeler County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
