The high school volleyball landscape over the past year was a hit-and-miss proposition. Some states plowed through the pandemic and logged a complete schedule, while other states modified, shortened or canceled their seasons.
The Preseason MaxPreps All-America Volleyball Team highlights those athletes who shined during competition in 2020 while also taking into account players who were unable to take the court due to state restrictions. We've selected 52 girls for this year's team based off last year's performance while factoring in 2019 accomplishments and a look at how they fared in their club experience.
There are a number of repeat All-America selections as well as the sister of last year's MaxPreps National Player of the Year.
All 50 states and the District of Columbia are preparing for a complete season. This will allow for a look at the nation's top prep players and teams at the end of the season.
Later this week, we will release our look at the best player in each state, the best team in each state and our Preseason MaxPreps Top 25 rankings.
Read on for the Preseason MaxPreps All-America Team.
