The Crofton Warriors put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. They really took it to Tri County Northeast for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-8 win at home. The result was nothing new for Crofton, who have now won seven games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Crofton can attribute much of their success to Will Steffen, who threw for 97 yards and two touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Robbie Fisher was another key contributor, rushing for 40 yards and two touchdowns.
Crofton's victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Tri County Northeast, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
