Vian has gone a perfect 6-0 against Henryetta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wolverines are taking a road trip to take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Vian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Henryetta likes a good challenge.

Vian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Atoka 49-14 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-0.

Meanwhile, Henryetta fell victim to Valliant and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 32-0 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 32 points in the game before, the Knights' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Vian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.8 points on average over those games. As for Henryetta, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Everything came up roses for Vian against Henryetta in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 43-14 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
