The Oakville Tigers lost against the Rockford East E-Rabs back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Oakville fell to Rockford East 53-47. Oakville has struggled against Rockford East recently, as their game on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rockford East to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mars Von vittinghoff, who scored 15 points. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for him. Tarion Mcfadden-leach was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Oakville's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Rockford East, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.
Oakville will look to defend their home court on January 5, 2024 against Parkway South at 7:00 p.m. Rockford East is on the road again on Friday and play against Decatur Eisenhower at 10:00 a.m. on December 29th. Decatur Eisenhower is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
