The Glenn Rockets will take on the Dundee Vikings at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Glenn will be strutting in after a win while Dundee will be coming in after a loss.
Glenn is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Wayne Memorial 21-9 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Dani Jackson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 2-for-5 with five runs and one RBI. Those five runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Glenn got a massive performance out of Rylie Sansom, who went 2-for-6 with one home run, seven RBI, and two runs. That's the most hits Sansom has posted over her last nine contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Farrell, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Glenn kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Bedford hit Dundee with a 12-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings came up short against the Kicking Mules, falling 18-5.
Natalie Rath was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Lydia Homrich, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Glenn has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Dundee, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
Glenn might still be hurting after the 18-3 defeat they got from Dundee in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Rockets have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
