The Eureka Tornadoes will play host again and welcome the Caney Valley Bullpups, where tip off is scheduled for TBD on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Eureka was handed a 26-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Riley County on Friday. Eureka came out on top in a nail-biter against Riley County and snuck past 40-37. The victory was just what Eureka needed coming off of a 57-31 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Caney Valley waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Riverfield Country Day 64-35 on the road. Caney Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 29 points or more this season.
Eureka now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Caney Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
Everything came up roses for Eureka against Caney Valley in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 66-33 victory. Will Eureka repeat their success, or does Caney Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
