Tindley came out on top in a nail-biter against NorthWood on Thursday and snuck past 59-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Tindley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kenneth Lampley led the charge by scoring 15 points. Those 15 points set a new season-high mark for him. Damon Van Horn was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Tindley's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for NorthWood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
