After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbia Independent, the Lighthouse Prep Academy Eagles were happy to have found some success on Friday. They snuck past Heritage Academy with a 47-42 victory. The score was all tied up 22-22 at the break, but Lighthouse Prep Academy was the better team in the second half.
Lighthouse Prep Academy was led to victory by Jordan Little and Alajun Proctor. Little scored 12 points, while Proctor scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant King, who scored ten points.
Lighthouse Prep Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Heritage Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Prep Academy will challenge Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage Academy, Heritage Academy and Heartland Christian Academy will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Heartland Christian Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
