Carnegie Vanguard had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos. The Rhinos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Buffalos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.
While Carnegie Vanguard ultimately came up short, they really made Fort Bend Marshall work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-16, 22-25, 25-16.
