Jefferson had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35.9 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging an 81-23 win over the Hughes Springs Mustangs. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Jefferson's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Hughes Springs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.
