It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the O'Fallon Panthers had no problem doing just that on Monday. They breezed by the Maroons at home to the tune of 65-22. O'Fallon has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead O'Fallon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jehda Williams, who scored 11 points along with five blocks and two steals. D'Myjah Bolds was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
The win (which was O'Fallon's third in a row) raised their record to 25-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Belleville West, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-25.
O'Fallon will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Quincy at 6:00 p.m. Quincy is coming into the match with seven straight victories on the road, so O'Fallon is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Belleville West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
