Make it eight blowout wins for the Franklin County Tech Eagles this season. They were the clear victor by a 52-30 margin over Ware. The win was familiar territory for Franklin County Tech who now have ten in a row.
Hannah Gilbert was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds and two steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lea Chapman, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Franklin County Tech has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Ware, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Franklin County Tech will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Beavers at 7:00 p.m. Putnam Vo-Tech and the Eagles are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. Ware does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
