Saranac Lake had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They skirted past the Peru Nighthawks  3-2. For the Red Storm, this counts as revenge for the   3-1 loss the Nighthawks walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in October of 2023.

 Saranac Lake  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 19  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in 20 consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
 Saranac Lake will face off against AuSable Valley at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Peru, they will challenge Beekmantown at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
