Another player making a difference was Ibrahim Elagha, who scored eight points along with two steals.
College Prep of America dropped their record down to 8-14 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Maine West, their victory bumped their record up to 4-17.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. College Prep of America will face off against Unity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Unity Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight contests. As for Maine West, they will head out on the road to challenge Niles North at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Niles North presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Maine West in Illinois (Niles North is ranked 76th, while Maine West is ranked 575th).
