Tareavion Mageo's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
Starting off the list is White Oak's Tareavion Mageo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Mageo rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
The win (which was White Oak's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Mageo and White Oak will look to defend their home field on Friday against Dixon at 7:00 p.m.

Gulat Posts Huge Game in 37-15 Victory
Thanks in part to JJ Gulat, Dixon said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Gulat did his part (and then some), rushing for 201 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry for the 'W'. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.
On the season, Gulat has averaged 16.1 passing yards per game.

Tanner Payne Delivers Electric Effort Vs White Oak
West Carteret had to settle for second on Friday, but Tanner Payne sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the loss, Payne was still balling out as he threw for 403 yards and five touchdowns.
On the season, Payne has thrown 24 touchdowns while averaging 279.3 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 27.69 passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 92.01 passer rating.

Caleb Simco and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Richlands picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Caleb Simco. Simco was unstoppable, rushing for 230 yards on only nine carries, while also throwing for 117 yards on eight of 15 attempts. Those 230 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Richlands pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Simco and Richlands will venture away from home to square off against West Carteret at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Richlands Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Semaj Thompson
Richlands picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Semaj Thompson. Thompson was unstoppable, picking up five sacks and making 11 total tackles.
On the year, Thompson has averaged 5.9 total tackles per game and for the season has 6.5 sacks. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he had one sack.
