The Windsor Warriors entered their tilt with the Berlin Redcoats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Windsor managed a 41-37 win over Berlin on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Windsor also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Emma Ellison and Brooke Walker certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Ellison scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and six blocks, while Walker dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Walker hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games.
Windsor is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Berlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Windsor won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Somers at 11:00 a.m. on January 20th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Somers is ranked 46th, while Windsor is ranked 58th). As for Berlin, they will head out on the road to take on Southington at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Southington knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Berlin likes a good challenge.
