The Eastern Ramblers can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 59-3 win over Bard. Winning may never get old, but Eastern sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
It was another big night for Jayme Poindexter, who scored 27 points along with seven steals and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samia Greene, who scored ten points along with five assists and four steals.
Eastern is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Bard, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Eastern will play host again and welcome the Clerks, where tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Cardozo comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last eight games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. Bard will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Colts at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th.
