The Linn Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Friday against the South Callaway Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Linn focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Linn was beaten by the Eagles 68-35. While losing is never fun, Linn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 310th, while the Eagles are ranked 41st).
Linn's loss came about despite a quality game from Noah Hall, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, South Callaway was able to grind out a solid victory over the Hornets on Monday, taking the game 55-46. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Callaway.
Linn now has a losing record at 9-10. As for South Callaway, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Linn came up short against the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 71-58. Can Linn avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
