The Platte County Pirates lost against the Grandview Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Platte County took a 27-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Grandview.
Grandview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Lariah Tucker, who scored 7 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Kirkwood, who scored 6 points.
Platte County's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Grandview, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Platte County will be playing in front of their home fans against Lafayette at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Grandview is on the road again on Friday and play against North Kansas City at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st.
