The Miller Buccaneers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 73-46 victory over Corpus Christi Moody at home. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Miller as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Miller found their leader in underclassman Hailey Martinez, who scored 27 points along with four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which Martinez has scored at least a third of Miller's points. Another player making a difference was Julissa Ramirez, who scored eight points.
Miller's victory bumped their record up to 12-20. As for Corpus Christi Moody, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.
Miller does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Corpus Christi Moody also has no future games currently scheduled.
