The La Porte Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 55 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Ball 60-55. La Porte has struggled against Ball recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, La Porte had strong showings from Trent Callies, who scored 15 points along with three steals, and Phillip Ned, who scored 16 points. Callies has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Gian Guardiola, who scored six points.
La Porte's defeat dropped their record down to 19-14. As for Ball, they pushed their record up to 20-9 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Angleton the next time they take the court. La Porte will head out to face Angleton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Ball will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
