Wheatley is 10-0 against Scarborough since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Wheatley Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scarborough Spartans at 10:00 a.m. Wheatley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 276 points over their last four contests.
Last Monday, Wheatley was able to grind out a solid win over Worthing, taking the game 58-51.
Wheatley can attribute much of their success to Autumn Breedlove, who scored 16 points along with six steals and five assists, and Jamie Solomon, who scored 22 points along with six assists and three steals. Solomon hasn't dropped below two steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was Da?nasia Parrish, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Scarborough suffered their biggest loss yet this season last Tuesday. They were dealt a 68-22 loss at the hands of Worthing. Scarborough has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Wheatley has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Scarborough, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with that defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Wheatley against Scarborough in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 68-2 win. Does Wheatley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Scarborough turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
