The Vance Charter Knights can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They blew past Oxford Prep 55-32. Winning may never get old, but Vance Charter sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Vance Charter's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alyssa Bullock, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. Bullock is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Emily Reese was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Vance Charter's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Oxford Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vance Charter will face off against Henderson Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Vance Charter is facing Henderson Collegiate at the right time seeing as Henderson Collegiate is stuck on a eight-game losing streak. As for Oxford Prep, they will head out on the road to take on Eno River at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
