The Medford Tech Jaguars can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 84-46 victory over Pemberton. Winning may never get old, but Medford Tech sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Medford Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tre Powell led the charge by scoring 34 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Powell has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nesta Rice, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Medford Tech is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. As for Pemberton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Medford Tech will take on Trenton Catholic Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Trenton Catholic Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 520 points over their last eight contests. As for Pemberton, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Westampton Tech at 5:00 p.m. Hopefully Westampton Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Wednesday.
