Soccer Recap: Buford Sets Scoring Season-High Against Chester

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buford). They blew past the Chester Cyclones 10-0 on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Buford's offense was hitting Chester from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Hannah Davis led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Buford's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Chester, they moved to 10-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Buford will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cyclones: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th.
